Next to being the one behind the lens during a newborn photography session, I love to teach others how to safely pose newborn babies for portraits. Beautiful baby Mia, whom you see here in the collage of sweet images, is the daughter of one of my students.
Mia’s mother, Kalpa, attended a three day newborn posing workshop at my studio, and over the course of those few days, I got to know this wonderful woman. After her baby was born, Kalpa returned for her refresher day, which is something I offer all of my students. This refresher session was just a little more special, however, because Kalpa had the opportunity to take some photos of Mia after I posed her.
These collages of touching images are made up of some of the photos we took on that day. Visit my blog to see more of this collection of newborn photography, featuring wonderful little Mia.
Chandra,
I can’t believe I am only seeing this post now, I guess that’s a sign of being a new mom 🙂
Chandra I cannot thank you enough for the amazing opportunity, your generosity and the gorgeous images of Mia that we will forever cherish. You are the best newborn photographer out there and we feel so fortunate that you were able to capture Mia at this precious stage. I am looking forward to learning more from you through future workshops and am so glad that we’ve connected!
