Here is another sneak peek from a recent newborn session with Chandra Lee Photography.

When I’m photographing a newborn, I get lost during my sessions. I rarely look at the time and I work on each pose until it’s perfect. Each baby is unique with different personalities. Much of the time spent during a newborn session is getting to know your little one.

Newborn sessions are best photographed in the first 10 days of baby’s life. For even better results and variety in poses, I highly suggest sessions to take place between day 5 and day 8.

When baby’s are overdue, they are much more alert and awake. Overdue babies should be photographed on day 5 or day 6 if at all possible.

This baby girl was over due by 10 days. I was lucky to photograph her on day 8 when she was still nice and sleepy. I couldn’t be happier with the results of her session. She is perfect and beautiful!
