Professional photographers, like myself, are always looking for ways to add something new to their portfolios and to give variety to the types of services they’re willing and able to offer their clients. While brainstorming some fun and creative ways to capture child portraits, I thought what better way to document a little girl’s big imagination than with professional photography, highlighting quintessentially girly behaviour like playing dress-up in frilly gowns and having tea parties in flower gardens.
Professional Photography that’s Fit for a Princess
We’re now entering the perfect time of year for these princess-themed professional photography sessions. There are many locations throughout Durham Region that would make positively beautiful settings for your daughter’s photo shoot; choose from a truly magical forest setting, a bridge over a grassy marsh, cherry blossom or peony filled gardens, boardwalks, and others. Combine one of these settings with a little crinoline and rose-petal filled baskets and we’ll capture a collection of images that are utterly feminine and magical.
Of course, the Princess in the Park sessions wouldn’t be complete without the dresses! I’ve recently added a selection of princess-approved gowns in sizes one to six to my professional photography wardrobe. We’ll have fun choosing the outfit and props that will bring your daughter’s princess dreams to reality–even if just for the photo shoot!
More than One Princess in Your Family?
For families with more than one young daughter, your professional photography session can also include a tea party with sisters. You love watching them use their imaginations when playing together at home, so capture those memories with professional photography to create keepsakes your daughters will cherish forever.
Scheduling a Session for Your Princess or Princesses
I have appointments available for the Princess in the Park photo sessions, Mondays to Fridays at 7:30 p.m., 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Your little beauty’s session will take 30 minutes and includes the use of the princess dresses and props. Sessions are just $199 and include 5 digital files and an online viewing gallery in which you will be able to choose from 10 professional photography images. If you choose to transform some of your daughter’s portraits into beautiful keepsakes, I’ll be happy to help you customize a boutique product package (additional fees will apply).
