I love photographing babies, children and families and have been doing so full-time for nearly 6 years now. Working as a law clerk for 10 years was not my cup of tea. A creative side has always been a part of who I am and I’m thankful for the career I have today.
In October of 2008, I began taking pictures of babies. I needed something to do during my maternity leave after my daughter was born. She was 10 months old when I began taking pictures. I never did return to work as a law clerk when my maternity leave ended.
Photographing became my new career almost overnight. I never expected to be where I am today photographing so many beautiful children and families.
I was fortunate to photograph this family when they had their first daughter in November of 2010. They just welcomed a second addition to their wonderful family – a gorgeous baby boy!
Thank you so much for choosing me to be your newborn photographer.
Big sister adores her baby brother. It took a few minutes for her to warm up to having her picture taken but the end result was beautiful!
Still a favorite pose of many clients is the baby holding head up pose.
Capturing a 3 year old child giving their newborn baby brother or sister a kiss is a wonderful keepsake for mom and dad.
Santa hats are always a fun addition to a newborn photography session near the holiday season.
Clients always get to pick out some hats and accessories they would like used during their newborn picture session.
Black and white newborn images are stunning. Although I showcase many vibrant colourful images I also am in love with timeless black and white images of newborn babies.
We even captured a picture of baby C with eyes wide open.
Big sister was a dream to photograph. Her nana came to the session and curled her hair before her pictures were taken. She was beautiful to photograph as a 3 year old just like she was as a newborn when I first met her.
There are many pant and hat sets to choose from during your newborn session. Mom picked this one which is one of my favourites with blue and yellow stripes.
