I’ve had a great response to the newborn photography Price Match special I launched last week. This limited time only offer is available for new sessions booked by August 31st, 2014 and scheduled to take place after September 1st, 2014.
Clients must do the research themselves and find photographers whose work is comparable to that offered at Chandra Lee Photography. They must provide me with the competing photographer’s package details, as well as a link to the photographer’s website. So far, I’ve approved Price Matching for the following three packages that have been presented by several new clients. I’ve included the package details here to give you an idea of what you can expect from this offer:
Newborn Photography Package 1:

- Newborn session (3-4 hours) in studio
- 20 high resolution images on a keepsake USB
- Credit of $75 to use towards prints and wall portraits
- Choice of either one 5×7 proof book or 24 birth announcement cards
Newborn Photography Package 2:
- $550
- Includes session for baby and immediate family (up to 4 hours in studio) with 20 high resolution images on a USB drive
- 50% off à la carte standard prints as well as 15% off all other products
Newborn Photography Package 3:
- $550
- 20 digital images provided by digital download with editing completed within two weeks of session date
My Motivation for Launching this Special Offer
Many people are wondering why I’ve decided to host this Price Match special now. For the last 2 1/2 years, I’ve been working part time and I plan to go back to full-time from September 1st on. This being the case, I wanted to set my new schedule off to the best possible start by bringing as many new clients into the studio as I can.
The other reason is a little more obvious, at least I’m sure it is to other photographers; the newborn photography market is saturated and when clients lack an understanding of what quality work looks like or how it’s created, photographers like myself have to come up with new ways to set themselves apart.
