This sleeping baby boy was lovely to photograph and didn’t have a care in the world. You sure could tell how much his mom and dad love him. Thank you “T” and “C” for choosing me to be your newborn photographer. Here is a sneak peek from your session and I look forward to seeing you again soon!
The trick to keeping newborns happily sleeping is to keep them warm and well fed.
Clients are urged to feed and burb their babies prior to arriving at the baby photography studio. If babies need a little top up to get them back to sleep before their session begins, that’s okay too.
The car ride induces little ones to fall asleep. If babies are well fed before arriving, we can usually start taking pictures right away.
Baby photography sessions run on your baby’s schedule. A full belly will result in a happy baby allowing your baby to fall asleep during your session and have beautiful baby pictures captured.
Chandra Lee recognizes and understands that each baby is unique and also works with each mom to keep to baby’s feeding routine. If baby doesn’t take a pacifier that’s okay. Chandra Lee actually prefers not to use pacifiers during your newborn picture session as getting it away from baby is often more difficult than the extra few minutes spent lulling baby to sleep.
Baby may need extra feedings during your newborn photo session so it’s a good idea to bring three or four extra bottles. If you are breast feeding exclusively, bottles are not necessary. If you are using expressed breast milk, you are welcome to bring your breast pump with you to use during your photo session.
Your baby will most likely have extra feedings during your photo session. If baby wakes up during the session, a quick feeding can be very helpful to get baby into a deep deep sleep for pictures.
