Happy Mother’s Day
I hope every mom had a wonderful day yesterday.
My daughter Madison gave me a wonderful gift for Mother’s Day. I cried when I opened it. I’m so proud of her. I’ve kept every piece of art she has ever made. All of her art is proudly displayed on my fridge and around my office desk. My daughter is the most special gift I have ever been given. I’m proud to be a mother today and always. When I read over the answers to the questions the daycare staff asked her, I was touched by her answers. She was asked what her mommy likes to do. Maddy answered “cook and take pictures of babies”. Her answer to “Sometimes my Mommy gets angry when . . . . was “She doesn’t get angry”. “Go to dance”, was her answer to the most favorite thing she likes to do with her mommy.
I am so proud to be a mom. Madison’s gift touched my heart and made tears role down my cheeks. Now I know how my clients feel when they see the precious images of their babies for the first time. I often hand them kleenex as the images bring tears to their eyes.
These moments we have with our children can never be replaced.
Madison’s gift is something I will treasure forever.
I love you Madison.
