Lately, there has been a wave of baby boys visiting the studio. This adorable baby boy was here a few days ago for his baby photos. Mom and Dad looked wonderful and it was nice to share the day with them photographing their new arrival.
The families that come to see me spend most of the day with me for their newborn portraits. I know that my clients are looking for more than just a few beautiful poses when they come to see me. Yes, my sessions are long but they are long for a reason. It takes a lot of time and patience to get newborn babies into the poses you see on the web site. My clients often have a long drive before arriving. Clients travel from as far as Waterloo and Ottawa to come and see me. Baby first needs a very long feeding before starting their photography session which often takes up to one hour. About halfway through the session baby has another feeding session that can again take up to one hour. Every once in awhile a baby is cluster feeding on the day of their session. This means that baby needs more time with mom. All of this is okay because your baby’s needs come first.
I placed another order for new baby hats, layering blankets and styling accessories over the weekend. I’m excited every time I check the mail because the items arriving are beautiful and I can’t wait to use them in upcoming newborn sessions.
Thank you so much “L” and “A” for choosing me to be your newborn photographer. I look forward to seeing you again in a few day’s time. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek 🙂
