A wonderful photographer came to visit me all the way from Boston, USA recently for a private mentoring session! We had a wonderful day together photographing two newborn babies.
My mentoring sessions are private in nature so that photographers can receive the time and attention they need in order to learn the basics of newborn photography. My mentoring sessions are intended to be much more than a large group of photographers lining up to have 5 seconds to take an image for use in their portfolio.
One on one mentoring sessions give aspiring newborn photographers the chance to assist with wrapping techniques and posing.
I am happy to see the students I have taught, succeeding in their newborn photography. At least 3 photographers are now teaching and this makes me very proud. I encourage all photographers to always believe in themselves.
Here are a few images from our mentoring session.
