Registration – A $500 USD deposit is required to hold your spot and is non-refundable.
Cancellation – Your deposit of $500 USD is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due by December 29, 2012. Should a cancellation be requested after the remaining balance is paid, the remaining balance will be refunded if you can find someone to fill your spot.
What You Will Learn
Day 1 – $1,200 USD
Learn to master natural light photography, exposure basics, custom white balance, how to set up for a newborn session, safe posing of newborn babies, soothing techniques, and relating with your clients. There will be 2-3 newborn models over the course of the day.
Day 2 (Optional Add On) – $500
Learn business practices, effective marketing strategies, digital processing and managing workflow.
What You Need
DSLR – you should be comfortable shooting in manual mode
Basic knowledge of Photoshop is recommended
50 mm 1.4 lens
Macro lens is suggested but not required. Chandra does a lot of her work with a 105 mm macro lens
Laptop is optional but would be helpful to follow along during the digital processing part of class
Class Size
Class size will be limited to 8 photographers.
