Back in mid May, Julia and her husband met me in a nearby Bowmanville park for maternity photography. Despite the fact that the flowers had yet to start blooming and the trees had few if any buds, we worked with our surroundings to find incredibly unique backdrops for a memorable collection of maternity photography.
It goes without saying that the birth of every baby is special, but I think the period of time that leads up to the birth of one’s first baby is particularly exciting. Not knowing what to expect or when to expect it, the last weeks before a first baby is born can be such a wonderful whirlwind of emotion!
Julia, as you can see, was absolutely glowing and visibly very excited about welcoming her baby into the world. I just love this image of Julia and her husband, as it so clearly portrays the love that they already feel for their baby.
Maternity Photography in the Most Naturally Beautiful Settings
As I mentioned, flowers had yet to start blooming at the time that this maternity photography session took place. Instead, we chose some lovely spaces where long grasses created backdrops for portraits that are equally gorgeous and very unique.
That’s the thing about photography sessions that take place outside; no matter the weather or the space, there is always something interesting and beautiful just waiting to provide you with a one-of-a-kind photo.
I’d like to send a sincere thank you to Julia and her husband for choosing me as their maternity photographer. One of the greatest perks of this job is having the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and being able to offer them such special, unique mementos of a time as important as a baby’s birth.
